Thanks to Spinningtoys.com for graphic.

This is YoYoJam’s latest entry in the yoyo market. It is a slimline butterfly with brass weight rings around the outer edge of the yoyo. The weight rings used on the Kahuna are the same rings that are used on the Original SpinFaktor, they are a thicker weight ring that gives this yoyo a very heavy weight. This yoyo reminds me of the Mega Spin FaKtor but in a slim line design. This yoyo is also mush narrower than the Super Spin FaKtor, but even though it is of a slimmer design it is still easy to catch on the string. If you like heavy yoyos and great spin time, this is a good yoyo for the price. The first throw of this yoyo I noticed how heavy it was at the end of the string, but it returned to my hand immediately upon command. The only thing I found at that point that I didn’t like was the fact that the edges seem very sharp and can be hard on the hand. I put a new Slick 6 string on this yo and started to put it through some tricks. It performed great, no snags or catches. The Gap is adjustable like all YoYoJam products. I opened the gap up a bit and was able to perform any trick that I wanted. Even though this yoyo doesn’t have the Ceramic Bearing, sleep time is no problem. It is smooth and very responsive. I do think though that this yoyo loops worse than the Super SpinfaKtor (if that is possible), but other than that it is a great yoyo for the price. So If you like heavy yoyos and are looking for one that is in the midrange of price this is a good yoyo. However, it can be very hard on your hands if you do get a tangle and the yoyo comes flying back. Like I said before, the only thing that I have found that I didn’t like about this yoyo was the sharp edges. If the edges where just a little rounded I think this would be a great all around yoyo that you could use for anything (except to loop).
