The spintastics torch is the best light up ball bearing I own so far. Its spins are long enough to pull off anything posible because it spins for well over a minute. This is all thanks to the teflon bearing inside. Unlike the tornado the ball bearing is “teflon sealed,” which makes it smoother on spins and smoother on the string as well. So unlike the other ball bearing in the tornado, the torch’s bearing is a whole lot better so you can put on a good night show with it. Speaking of the light it is a red light and very bright and noticeable because the yo-yo halves are see through. You can also get pretty good response from it as well, so you can finish off your trick without any bother of it not returning. As for the loops I was actually suprised at how well it looped because it was quite heavy (61 or 62 grams) for a yo-yo. I could loop pretty well with it and because the light kept popping on as i was looping it created a good affect. You may have to replace the strings on your torch because it does chew threw your strings pretty fast. It is very smooth on the string because of the new bearing style so you can put on a great night show and never bother about it snagging and having half the audience thinking that what you have just done was right and clapping for no reason at all. So all in all the torch was a good buy for me as it is the same as the tornado exept longer spins smoother on the string and……. a light! And as you know Ihated the tornado. So if you don’t get the torch then your missing out on something really fun. Happy spinning!
