Two words: MUST HAVE! The SuperYo Renegade is an incredible performer. I think it gives the best bang for the buck. I found this yo-yo for $12, and it will not break the bank and will perform like those $50+ yo-yos. The one bad point for this yo-yo is the IntelliGap system. Basically, the really didn’t need it. The only gap setting that really works is the tightest setting, and when you don’t have the tightest setting, the yo-yo will see to be “loose” and you will be figeting with gap when the gap setting is fine anyways. I heard stuff about the lettering wearing off in like a week, but that never happens to me, so I don’t know what to say about the matter. Anyways, the SuperYo! Renegade is an awesome performer and will give you the most bang-for-the-buck ever. (Well, maybe not the FreeHand….)

The Renegade is an excellent yo. It isn’t that great quality- it’s noisy, the letters scratch off easy and that 3-in-1 system is just plain fiddly. But it is a superb performer. It has an ‘Intelligap’ system, which is supposed to be an adjustable string gap but doesn’t work that well. It isn’t too responsive at first, but lube it often and it’s very responsive. Now onto the plusses! It sleeps for quite a long time, is a nice butterfly shape, comfortable in the hand, the right weight, super-smooth on the string (triple skin the cat anyone?) and is all-round a great performer. You may not know it, but it is in fact a great rival to the Reactor and TBB GT. A great buy.

WOW. From complex pop-up moves to layers to lengthy tricks like The Doppler Effect, this is an incredible string player. It is also the most comfortable yo-yo I’ve used. It sleeps for quite awhile and with a little bit of lube it will return too. I picked the Renegade up for $10 at Toys “R” Us and it was worth every penny. If you can get it for $10-15 it’s a good deal, but for $20 go for the White Renegade.

Why didn’t I pick this one up before? This is the best string trick yo-yo for $20 or less. It doesn’t matter what color you use, they’re all great. The Renegade has great sleeper times, it’s really smooth on the string, but it’s unresponsive at times (the main downside). It has a fixed gap that slips a little, and when taking it apart be careful! I can do all my favorite tricks with this one, and it feels really good too. To think this one was staring me in the eyes before and I didn’t get it. Go get one of these, they’re great yo-yos to have!

This is the perfect string trick yoyo. Let me rephrase that: there is NO better string trick yoyo. I have never played a yo so smooth and flawless in operaration before this gem came into my hands. I like it just a wee bit more than a SF. Buy it!! This yoyo is THE one to learn advanced string tricks with. And, if all this weren’t enough, it seems to actually be made to perform better with cheap size 8 string! Wow. What a yoyo. I am crying with delight in just thinking about how awesome it is. I have 4.

Marbelized Renegade. This yo is a very, very nice yo it is made out of hard plastic and it has a lot harder plastic then the white one. I got a green and purple one and I love it, it is one off the best yo’s out there. It is super smooth and responsive with a bit of lube and the price is hard to beat for a yo as good as this. It sleeps long enough for me but it might not for other peps. They would prefer ssf for sleep time. Well anyway I think this yo out performs very high priced yo’s like the mondial and the cf. but this is only for me and this yo can take a lot of strings into the gap with out it snagging. I would get one of these because they rule. but they do perform different because not all marbleized Gades are the same exactly are they. But it happens with lots of yo’s so get it now I am sure you will not be disappointed.

My inauguration to ball bearing yo yos was the Custom Reactor. Yes it’s small, yes it’s heavy. But it’s as smooth as s*** from a duck’s ass and I’ve been spoiled ever since. Unfortunately, the Renegade pales in comparison… but only slightly. It’s heavy, which I find somehow reassuring. Its sleep times are respectable, but it plays like an outboard motor on the end of a string, sound and feel. The thing woke up my roommate from the other side of my apartment. Occasionally, the yo yo slips down the string which is startling. Good points? Sure. Great for string tricks. GREAT for string tricks. Nice, graceful butterfly design. Looks great. Excellent weight to size proportion- feels right. There’s something really real about this yo yo, something that feels perfectly substantial and… well, for lack of a better term, hard core. Are there better yo yos out there? Of course. But this yo yo is an excellent toy for beginners and finishers alike. Plus it’s cheap, requires no fussy maintenance (about the only place this yo yo beats the reactor.). No brake pads, control rings, weight rings, starbursts, or any of that. It’s designed to be a workhorse yo yo. Take it outta the box and go.

This is a great yoyo. only complaint is that it needs lube often to stay responsive, but that all. it sleeps on the string like forever and gets 1-2 minute sleep times on an average throw. Great yoyo for under $20 dollars. I can easily pull off 5 or 6 barrel rolls and still have enough spin to get it back up. This is a great yoyo and no string trick player should be without one. It’s awesome. Go get one.

This is an excellent yoyo, I pulled off a (Don’t know how) Octo-or Nothing (Seriously), It is responsive with lube, but the bearing needs cleaning once every 2 weeks. It is smooth on string tricks, and is not catchy at all, for $20, it is a Must-have for any Yo-er, beginning, or expert.

WOW! This yoyo is one of the best yoyos I have ever played with. It is great with loops, one of the best looping yoyos ever. The Renegade is an awesome yoyo. It also really good with string stricks even though you may not think so at first because it is loud and noisy you might think it slows down on the string but it doesn’t. I would suggest this yo for beginners to experts. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it is noisy. You have to lube it regularly or it will lose its responsiveness. It is an all around good yo.
