Listen up fellow yo-yoists, here is a great yo yo to buy for a cheap price! This yo yo is a must have and it earns the title of best price to performance ratio. It sleeps long, loops well because of the brake pads, does string tricks superbly, and generally performs well. The butterfly design lets you land trapezes anddoubleor nothing easily. The only drawbacks to this yo-yoare that the brake pads wear out fast, and it can’t handle many strings in the gap (this may be just me). The brake pads may wear out fast but they are worth replacing since they make the yo-yo so responsive. This is a great string trick yo-yo andI suggest buying this now. If this doesn’t satisfy you, then buy an A-line Cherry Bomb or Silver Series Cherry Bomb.

This yoyo is awesome. It is just as good as the Bumble Bee, but the GT is a butterfly. That is a big +. It is good on eli hops, split the atom, and other string tricks, but is not the best looper. It’s the best butterfly style looping yo yo I have ever seen. My one fault about this yo yo is that the one I bought one endcap is loose and freewheels which doesn’t perfect its performance but make this really annoying noise. I still think this is a great yo yo and you can pick one up for about 15$.

The Butter Bee (Turbo Bumble Bee GT) is one of those out-of-this-world string trick yoyos. It sleeps well, does string tricks well, and loops well enough for me. This uses the same Brake Pad Technology (BPT) that most of the Playmaxx yoyos do. But beware, this can get VERY annoying having to replace them every month or so if you are playing with it all of the time, or if you can’t find a store that has them around you, and have to wait. This yoyo is a great value for around $13.95, but just beware of the high maintenance it has.

The Turbo Bumblebee GT (Turbo Butterbee) has to have one of the best dollar to performance ratio of any yo-yo. It sleeps a long time, does string tricks like a breeze, and wakes up easily after a sleep because of Playmaxx’s patent brake pads. The Turbo Bumblebee GT does string tricks so well that it will sleep almost as long on the string as off it. This is simply one of the best performing yo-yos out there.

I was at the Playmaxx Pro Yo World Championships in Phoenix in July, so I was yoing with my Playmaxx yoyos a lot at the time. I picked up a Turbo Bumble Bee GT before I went, and I really love it. Playmaxx butterfly yoyos have an awesome rounded off shape that feels great in your hand. The Bee GT performs flawlessly on string tricks. It’s very easy to catch on the string, and it sleeps for a long time during string tricks.

If you want a yo-yo for strictly string tricks, this is a great one to start on. This is the best non-aluminum string trick yo-yo by far. It plays very smoothly on a trapeze and on string mounts. You can throw sleepers over a minute and perform just about anything. The only downside is that new brake pads make the TBB GT a little jumpy, but it responds extremely well in comparison to other plastic yo-yos for the same price. It’s well worth the money, a ‘must-have’ for sure!

This is my favorite yo-yo. It sleeps great (55 seconds) and is the best yo-yo I own for string tricks. I learned tricks like Atom Smasher, Cold Fusion, and Kwyjibo with the TBB GT. It loops almost as well as the regular TBB, which is very well. The brake pads that make it smooth and responsive do wear out every couple of weeks or so depending on how much you use it, but are cheap and easy (even fun) to replace. This yo is dead smooth on the string. The ball bearing system is interchangeable with the Profire’s, which is nice. When the pads wore out on the TBB GT, I just installed the bearing in my Profire GT (which had brand new pads) and the problem was solved! Get this yo-yo.

Now this, is an awesome yo-yo. I ain’t seen one much better, well, cold fusion, but that’s about it. I’m a beginner and I trying to learn Brain Twister. Now, I also have a raider. I can get only about half way through with the Raider, but with the TBB, I can land a perfect braintwister 10 times in a row. This is an awesome yo-yo for a great price. I got ripped off, I paid 20.00 bucks, instead of 14.99, but it’s worth it. Last word, GET THIS YO-YO!
