What can I say except that this yo-yo rules. Until I tried Da Bomb for the first time, I was a wooden axle purist. But Da Bomb turned me into a transaxle believer! It’s a light weight yo-yo, which makes it feel a little bit different in your hand. It has an imperial shape, and it’s an amazing sleeper. Within 30 minutes of getting mine I could do 25 Around The Worlds with one throw! It’s also a good looper, and good on string tricks. It has an adjustable string gap so you can widen it sleep more and catch on the string easier. The Grim Sleeper is the exact same yo-yo, except that it is purple and comes with different stickers.

The Da Bomb is the “Bomb”. It is sweet!! This yoyo is one of the best all-round yos! I’ve seen this yo priced from 3.99 to 30.00. The best price for this yoyo is about 8.99. Don’t be fooled by it’s price, just like it says on its pogs, “Revolution Hi-tech Ball Bearing Yo-Yo.” It is a High Performance yoyo. So get one!!!

I love this yo-yo!I heard some one got it to sleep for 2:45! I found out about da bomb when my older brother got the cherry bomb. He let me try it out, and I loved it. I wanted something different then what he had so I returned my stinkin duncan transxtion (that I had got the same day) and got da bomb. Get this yo-yo!

The first day I got a Da Bomb I loved it so much. It worked so sweet for about 3 weeks. Then it wouldn’t come back any more, even with it tightened all the way. My friend’s Grim Sleeper did the same thing but he tightened it so much he cracked the plastic. By doing so he made his yo-yo so unusable that you could not even put it together the right way. Then I decided to order a Viper. I decided to wreck my Da Bomb by doing skyrockets on a pavement driveway for about an hour. It never broke so it has supreme durability.

The grim sleeper is ok it sleeps good and it has a good logo. If you have one in your store I’d expect it to be $8.99. I don’t have one but I’ve seen one and I have played with it.

The Da Bomb is actually quite a good yo-yo. It was the first “team losi” yo-yo i bought and has lead me to buy other “team losi” products. The da bomb has some quite good features. Long sleep times by the abec-3 roller bearing, it has interchangable graphics, it gives you the option of inserting some weight rings into the outer grooves of the yo-yo for added sleep time and it even has an adjustable gap too. Now I’ve had this yo spinning for up to 1:40 without the weight rings and 2:12 with the weight rings. The da bomb is actually quite a good looper too if you practise well with it. I haven’t found much use out of the adjustable gap system because it doesn’t open very wide before it actually becomes unscrewed. If you’re a player and a collector (like me), the da bomb is definitely a must-have for any one as it is definitely worth it for the money. Happy spinning!

A great playing looper, but fragile to a fault. The first time it is overtightened(even a tiny bit), or the string breaks and it hits something, it is toast. I’ve owned six of these and all I have to show for it is a tiny ziplock baggy full of parts. I know I am hard on a yo-yo, but I have only broken maybe ten in forty years and six of them were DaBombs/Grim Sleepers. I wish Team Losi would make them again and use better plastic or something.
