I just got this yo-yo a couple of days ago. It has a wonderful feel when you hold it and you can tell that it is a very well made yo-yo. I used to sit at my computer and stare at this yo-yo when it cost over $100. Then I saw that you could get it for $45 and I just had to get it. It is a wonderful yo-yo. When I first picked it up it didn’t seem extremely heavy like everyone says. I played with it for a while and then picked up my saber raider and noticed the extreme weight difference. However I like the weight. The GT is better than the regular Cold Fusion for string tricks. I love this yo-yo and can’t put it down. I can get it to sleep for about 1:00 but I know that I will be able to get it to sleep longer in a couple of weeks. I love this yo-yo and I am very glad that I bought it. I think that every serious yo-yoer should have this one. I love the brake pads. They make it easy to do the simplest tricks such as gravity puller and the more complicated tricks too.

My only complaint about the CF GT is the weight. I don’t think it is exceptionally heavy, but it is just quite a bit heavier than the TBB GT. When switching between the two, looping out of tricks take a little getting used to. Overall it is an impressive yo. I don’t use it for everyday play — I want to keep it in good shape because it may be an excellent collector model some day. It also doesn’t seem to go through brake pads as fast even with heavy use (that’s probably just my imagination)!

I love this yoyo. It is probably one of the most heaviest yoyos, but after a while you will get used to the weight. The reason it is so heavy is because it is so smooth on the string. Anyways back to the review. On the string this is probably the best yoyo that I have tried. I can execute any trick as long as I can sleep it long enough, and it never slows down or catches. As for looping, there are better yoyos than this at looping. In fact, most yoyos are better than this at looping. But for being an aluminum yoyo, I think it is one of the best. On a Technic, I can do about 300 loops and on this with a wood axle, I can do about 75 loops. As for sleeping, don’t expect to get 8 minutes or so out of it. I at first got 2 minutes sleep but it took much practice and many attempts to get it to around 5 minutes or so. Finally overall, I think no yoyo is worth $150 but this is the closest to it.

The Cold Fusion GT looks beautiful. This yoyo does not even come close to sleeping 7 minutes. I have had it it about a month and i can sleep it about 3 minutes. With the wood axle that comes with this yo-yo it will loop fairly well. I haven’t really tried the brass axle. with the ball bearing this yoyo is a dream. Very good on the string, perfect for a couple of complicated string tricks with 1 sleeper. this yoyo comes with alot of goodies: cool can, pro glove, 2 brake pads, 3 black/yellow strings, 2 wood axles, 1 brass axle, 1 ball bearing axle, owner’s manual, and 4 spacers. I regret buying this yoyo, it is way too expensive. A Spin Faktor performs just as good as the Cold Fusion GT if not better.
